&lt;p&gt;Here is a plugin that will ensure your old permalinks are maintained - &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.deanlee.cn/?p=111&#038;cp=9" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;Dean's Permalink Migration Plugin&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have checked the code of Dean's Plugin, it is clean and very well written.&lt;/p&gt;
